How It All Started
Farrah

2004

Fatima Aliyu-Garba and Adaora Ndukwe Ugwu launched their fashion label, Abfab!, offering bespoke and custom tailoring.

2005

Fatima doubles up as the Chief Executive Officer and Creative Director, after buying out Adaora's interests in the business.

2006

Abfab! held its first fashion show with d'zyn couture to critical acclaim.

2007

After re-focusing and rebranding, the label Zain was borne offering the best in bespoke tailoring. Zain introduced its ready-to-wear collection and held numerous successful fashion exhibitions.

2008

The acquisition of a telecommunications company (Celtel) by a foreign company also called Zain deemed a rebrand necessary so as to maintain a seperate brand identity. To this end, the name FARRAH® was adopted.

2009

The House Of Farrah flagship boutique opened in the Silverbird Entertainment Centre in Abuja, Nigeria.

2010

The flagship boutique grand opening event was held and its range of products expanded. FARRAH® continued to epitomise luxury and continued being one of the most-sought after fashion labels. It also held a very successful exhibition at Leila Fowler in Lagos, Nigeria.

2011

Farrah took America by storm, by debuting at New York's Couture Fashion Week in February, receiving critical acclaim. Farrah, then carried on to showcase at the Arise Magazine Fashion Week in Lagos.

2012

Farrah made it's Debut at Africa Fashion Week London.

2013 & The Future

The House Of Farrah will continue to to turn out confident, elegant and superbly dressed men and women.
